Go to the "reserveren" section and choose "Veerdam". Here you can reserve bikes directly upon arrival of the ferry.

The Veerdam location is open around every regular ferry time, with the exception of the first ferry at 06:30 from Lauwersoog / 07:30 from Schiermonnikoog. Our village location at Paaslandweg 1 is open every day from 08:00.

A reservation can be cancelled or moved the day before the start until 16:00, with the right to a refund minus €2.50 administration costs. If not cancelled in time, no refund is given. For multi-day reservations cancelled late, the first day is charged and the remainder credited.

At all our locations you can pay by debit card or cash. For online reservations you can pay via iDEAL.

In principle there is no deposit. We reserve the right to charge a deposit if we deem this necessary.

It can take a few days for the amount to be credited to your account, especially if it was refunded during a weekend or on public holidays.

We can deliver bikes depending on your accommodation address. To keep the island as car-free as possible we only deliver outside the village centre, with the exception of items for people with disabilities. The delivery option becomes available when you enter an accommodation address outside the village.

For groups of 20 or more, luggage is transported free of charge to and from the accommodation address. You can indicate this on the group request form.

For groups of more than 20 persons we give 10% discount. For schools we have a special rate; please contact us by email or phone for more information.

Yes, your dog may go in the cargo bike.

The minimum age is approximately 4 years (110 cm). The maximum age is approximately 7 years (145 cm).

A maximum of 2 children can fit in a kidcar. The kidcar has straps for each child.

Our kidcars do not have a fixing for Maxi-Cosi car seats. The cargo bike "Cabby" and the electric cargo bikes do have this.

Reservations can be made up to a maximum of 1 day in advance. During peak season it is possible that we close reservations due to high demand.

Not all our items are available at all locations. Special items such as fat bikes, electric cargo bikes, mobility scooters and items for people with disabilities can only be reserved at the village locations.

The confirmation email may have ended up in your spam folder. If it is not there either, please contact us.

Bikes must be returned to the location where you picked them up, due to future reservations.

Bikes rented at one of our village locations must be returned before 18:00. If you rented at the Veerdam location, bikes must be returned before the 19:30 ferry.

This is usually possible. Come to one of our rental locations on or before the last rental day. For some items this is not possible due to reservations the following day.
